"In Japan we met with Shigeru Kobayashi (gainer.cc). gainer.cc is an open source Cypress chip-based dev board with an open IDE. Shigeru is working on a wireless XBee prototyping dev board (above). Shigeru also has a new book Physical computer with gainer it's somewhat like our Making things talk but in Japanese and gainer specific of course."

2008.10.20: Funnel build 008 has been released.
"Funnel is a toolkit for physical computing. Funnel supports Arduino I/O boards, Gainer I/O modules, XBee wireless modems and FIO (Funnel I/O) boards. The user can set filters to input or outputs ports: range division, filtering (e.g. LPF, HPF), scaling and oscillators."
